TEXAS GROUNDWATER MANAGEMENT AREA 11

The GMA-11 has adopted the initial Desired Future Conditions (DFC) for the Groudwater Management Area. The DFC was passed Unanimously by all voting Districts. A copy of the adopted DFC is shown below. The DFC has been accepted by the TWDB. The GMA reviewed and adopted the Managed Available Groundwater on January 12, 2011 for the next 50 years.

The GMA-11 planned to meet on June 8, 2011 to provide an opportunity for Forestar and Crown Pine Timber to present their specific concerns and suggested changes to the adopted DFC for the Groundwater Management Area.

The meeting was cancelled as Forestar and Crown Pine Timber would not be attending and presenting their specific concerns. If they wish to address the GMA in the future, the GMA-11 will call a meeting to hear their concerns.
