GMA 11

What Is GMA 11?

The Rusk County Groundwater Conservation District is a part of a Groundwater Management Area (GMA) known as GMA 11 that was created by the State of Texas.

The GMA is among 16 GMAs throughout the state that hold joint planning meetings to comply with state law in Chapter 36 of the Texas Water Code.
